Rinoa Wip

Work in progress of my Rinoa Heartilly cosplay. I'm still in the process of knitting the duster, the bias tape, the front closures, seaming it together, and painting the wings on.
The skirt was based off a McCall's skirt pattern that I modified to look more like the skirt she wears in-game. I used the shortest skirt pattern in the packet and opted not to include the waistband pieces, instead choosing to use elastic around the waist and shorten the skirt a little more. I considered making the buttons functional, but thought the shank buttons wouldn't lay the way I wanted and simply sewed them onto the front. 
The boots were found in a nearby thrift shop. I am aware they aren't entirely accurate, but I'm working with what I have on hand at the moment and will look for a more accurate version sometime in the future.
I still need to work on the shorts and install zippers in them, find the necklace, and possibly find a decent wig. Hopefully it'll be complete by August and I can wear it to our local con.
